Stephanie & Ryan Copeland
A little slower, a little dirtier, and a lot more satisfying.
Since 2021, we've operated our small farm here in Fulton, Missouri (Callaway County), where we raise Black Angus and Wagyu cattle, Katahdin sheep, chickens, and grow as much of our own food as we can.
Our approach is to do things from scratch — preserving produce, baking sourdough, and preparing meals from basic ingredients rather than a box. It's a little slower, a little dirtier, and a lot more satisfying than the alternative.
Our philosophy: work with nature, not against it. We lean on sustainable and regenerative methods, aiming for high-quality, naturally raised livestock and crops — and a real connection between the people who eat food and the place it comes from.
Muddy boots, chin scratches, and the occasional goat-parkour session
Life on the farm isn't the highlight reel — it's early mornings, a garden that out-produces our patience some weeks, and a sourdough starter that never takes a day off. It's also the actual heart of small farm life: showing up every single day for animals and a garden that depend on you.
